Keep your kitchen on your phone
Little Kitchen is an ordinary web page, so there is no app store and nothing to download. Put it on your home screen once and it opens like any other app: full screen, no address bar, your orders one tap from wherever your apps live.
Four steps on an iPhone, in Safari. Android is a little different, and it is at the bottom of this page.
On an Android phone
Chrome does the same thing from its three dot menu, where it is called Install app or Add to Home screen depending on the version. When your phone offers it, Little Kitchen puts a button for it in Settings, under Keep it on your home screen.
A few things worth knowing
- This is the app. Your menu, your hours and your orders are the same whether you opened it from the icon or from a browser.
- You do have an account, and it stays signed in. If it asks for a code the first time you open the icon, that is normal: it is a fresh browser, and the code comes to your email the way it always does.
- Nothing is installed and nothing runs in the background. It updates itself, so there is no version to keep current. Delete the icon the way you delete any other one.
Your customers can keep your menu the same way.
