Two ways to pay

Two ways to pay us, and you pick. Pay as you sell is a percentage of each order with nothing up front and nothing monthly. Flat monthly is a fixed amount a month and 0% per order.

• The two cost the same at a certain amount of orders in a month. Below it the per-order plan is cheaper, above it the flat one is.
• Your Money screen watches your own sales and tells you when the other one would be cheaper for you.
• Switching takes effect on your next billing date, never in the middle of a month.
• The bill is added up once a month on the day you signed up, and you get seven days to pay it.
• On the per-order plan, nothing is charged on an order that gets cancelled, and if a month comes to less than a dollar we skip the bill.

On the per-order plan the fee is the same whether they pay you cash or card.

$5 a month on top of whichever plan you are on. It is the screen you run a service on: sales and orders as they happen, what is selling right now and what has stalled, one tap to take a dish off the menu and put it back, the wait you are quoting, and your open tickets big enough to read across a counter.

Your Money screen does not move. Your totals, your best sellers, your hot and cold and your bill stay where they are and stay included. Back of House is a separate screen, not a paid version of that one.

Seven days free once you have taken your first order, and you add a card to start it. If an add-on payment fails the screen switches off and nothing else changes: your kitchen keeps taking orders. Cancel whenever you like and you keep everything.

Past seven days your kitchen stops taking new orders. Your menu, your photos, your past orders and your link all stay exactly where they are. Pay and it opens again the same second.

Your customers pay you, not us. Cash at the window, or by card when they order, and you pick which you take. Neither one puts your money in our account: a card payment lands in your own bank, and our fee comes out of it rather than us holding it first.

You are. We don't cook it, see it or check it. What you make, how you store it, and whether you're allowed to sell it where you work is yours. Look up the rules before you take money: cottage food registration if you cook at home, your own permits and commissary if you cook from a truck. They're usually short.

Can my customers pay by card?

Yes, once you set up card payments on the Money screen. Stripe pays it into your bank account. You can take cash as well, or only cash.

Do I need a business license?

Depends where you live. Search for the cottage food rules in your state and read them before you sell.

Can I stop?

Any time. Switch your kitchen to closed and it stops taking orders straight away. To close it for good, email us from the address on your account and we will do it, once anything you owe is settled.
